thegeby.blogspot.com - The lunar new year is just a week away and I tend to think of Chinese cuisine for it which is the perfect excuse to make some Chinese food at home! Chinese cuisine is extremely varied with many tasty dishes with a lot of my favourites coming from the Sichuan province for their use of spicy hot chili peppers and mouth numbing Sichuan peppercorns! For the New Year some foods are considered lucky including long noodles, spring rolls, lettuce, oranges, whole fish, whole chickens, sticky rice cakes, etc. No matter what you choose to make to celebrate the New Year you really can't go wrong with some of these recipes!
